![]() ![]() If you’re ready, choose to go to the Graveyard to meet Vignus. He wants you to get gold and meet him there.Īfter having a few encounter you’ll come across Malaclypse again. When you start on the road again Malaclypse suggests that you go with him to visit Vignus of the Thieves Guild because he owes him some money. This is where you finally meet the ‘leader’ of this band of thieves, Malaclypse, and he’ll become one of your companions.Īt this point you’ll set up camp with Malaclypse and have the opportunity to customize your character. Every time you fight the band of thieves the leader will run away and hide.Īt the end of the first map you’ll uncover “The Royal Road” encounter. It’s best to use light weapons against thieves as they can more easily dodge the heavier blows. It’s a small adventure to get you used to the mechanics of the game.Īs you make your way through the forest you’ll have encounters with the thieves. The Fool is a tutorial quest that you must embark on when you begin the game. Once you have the amulet you’ll meet a new companion and travel to the Thieves Guild for a confrontation with Vignus. If you fail a dice-gambit, you gain damage. Objective: Follow a group of thieves through the forest to reclaim your Father’s amulet. If you revisit a place, the dice-gambit gets more difficult (I think only once, but not sure). You can continue to go to that cave after that, but I didnt do it, so I don't know whats happening there.Įvery time you want to visit one of the places, you have to do a dice-gambit. If you draw great success, you can go to an cave (thats the hidden place) where you find (draw) a lot of items without downside. After that event, you can continue to spent gold for health.ģ.) Bird: Sacrifice an item to get a card gambit with 1xsuccess, 1xgreat success, 2xfailure (or was it one time great failure, dont know). If you sacrifice (an item), you gain health. If you cut yourself, you will draw damage cards (I drew till I died). In nighttime there will come a ghost, asking you for blood. During daytime you gain health.Ģ.) Shrine: You can spent 2 gold to get a life card. I didnt test it, all out memory, so maybe not everything I write is right.ġ.) Pond: When you drink out of it at night, you get damage. There are 3 places (and I found one hidden place as well) you can discover to bring your life up, each with its own quest. This turns are meant to bring you to full life before the real trial begins. The first hours (daytime) you take no damage. There are 15 turns, representing a night. ![]() and all of this was just before i had to leave for work too, lol. That last shrine use was a close one cause i think i might have had around 30 or so health and took a risky chance with the dice in order to get that shrine usage just in the nick of time. all i did basically was stab myself to get rid of the curse on the shrine, constantly use the shrine to heal myself whenever it's necessary, and keep moving when i have a decent amount of health until it's finally sunrise. i had a decent amount of gold handy for this trial just for the use of that shrine constantly. i literally stabbed myself and got hurt quite a bit just so i can use the shrine normally during the night. Thankfully, i finally got the token for this one at the skin of my neck earlier today. i also already knew about the whole "get a scale from the cave at night" thing from the discussion board but i had no idea that giving the scale to the crow actually gets rid of the curse on the shrine. Lol yeah i did the same thing with giving the crow the Thieves Folly Ring whenever i have it. Pro Tip: If you have the blessing "Gambler's Banquet" before starting the Hoarfrost Trial, you can seriously get like 60-80 food during this one card. I just spammed "Try to find the pool"/"Try to find the Shrine" and eventually the sun came up. I'm not sure you actually need to use "Keep Moving" to progress the day. ![]() Then the Raven will be happy with you and the Shrine won't be cursed during the night. If you go to the Treasure Cave AT NIGHT, you'll find a scale you can give the Raven. If you succeed on the dice roll with the Raven after giving him an item (it seems like the "value" of the item doesn't matter - I even gave him the intentionally crappy Thieves Folly ring and the raven was fine with that), then you can find the Treasure Cave.
